Dr. Alan Dupre-Clark, LPCC, AAMFT


Dr. Alan Dupre-Clark has been a practicing psychotherapist for 28 years, specializing with adopted children and families. He is the Clinical Director of the Parenthesis Post-Adoption Counseling Program in Columbus, Ohio. He holds a doctorate in family studies and marriage and family therapy from the Colgate Rochester Center for Theological Studies. He is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Supervisor and a Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist.

He specializes in the areas of attachment problems and reactive attachment disorder, trauma, separation and loss, and adoption issues with adopted children. Individual, family, parent guidance and group counseling are offered. Children adopted privately, domestically, through the child welfare system, and internationally are served. He also provides assessments for the diagnosis of Reactive Attachment Disorder for families and agencies referring families on a state-wide basis.   


Susan McDannald, MSEd, LPC, BCCI

Professional artist turned Professional Counselor, Susan brings an abundance of imagination and creativity to her therapy. An attachment specialist with certification as an instructor in the Beyond Consequences Relationship Model, she combines self-empowerment and acceptance as tools in the healing process. Previously, she was a court-appointed Special Advocate. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from the Columbus College of Art and Design and a Masters in Community Counseling from the University of Dayton. As a Licensed Professional Counselor her strengths include crisis intervention, pre-and post-adoptive counseling and reunification work with adopted children in foster care. She has particular experience and skills with adolescents and their families.

Felicia Sowell-Moon, MSEd., BS

Felicia Sowell Moon is a Master’s level clinician who specializes in working with adoptive families and children with behavioral problems and mental health disorders.  Her areas of interest include attachment disorder, mood disorders, anger management, depression, self esteem, grief and loss, and at risk youth.  She has been working with children and families in a variety of settings including residential treatment, home-based counseling, Juvenile Court, and MRDD.  She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Employee Assistance Counseling from Franklin University and a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from The University of Dayton.
